The Gujarat Electronics and Software Industries Association (GESIA) presented the 2nd Annual GESIA Awards 2009 at a glittering function in the city on Thursday the 19th March 2009 at Panchratna Party Plot, Ahmedabad. Dr. Ganesh Natrajan, Chairman of NASSCOM, presided over the function as the Chief Guest of the Awards night. He lauded GESIA's efforts to serve ICT Industry of Gujarat. Mr. Raj Kumar, IAS – Secretary, Dept. of Science & Technology – Govt. of Gujarat addressed the gathering. The Gujarat IT Directory Website was also launched in august presence of Dr. Ganesh Natarajan and Mr. Raj Kumar alongwith GESIA President, Mr. Nirav Shah. This website will serve as a reference point of the ICT industry in the State.
