Gujaratstartups, SURAT: Manav Group, a medical welfare organisation in the city which is run to provide charity to the needy people, has organised state's first medical conference Manav-Medicon-2010' at Gandhi Smruti Bhavan in the city on Sunday.

About 1,000 delegates from the city and across the state are likely to participate in the conference where renowned doctors from across the country like Dr Prakash Kothari, renowned sexologist Dr Sharad Shah, well-known gastroenterologist Dr R Ravi Shanker headache and migraine specialist Dr Pramod Koshi and Dr Manish Mehta among others will deliver their keynote lectures.

Member of Manav Group core committee Dr Vinod Shah said, "This is for the first time that doctors from the field of allopathy, ayurveda and homeopathy will gather on a single platform. They will share their views on some of the core subjects and diseases."Manav Group has been formed by practising doctors of the city.
